Beekeeping development is tasked to provide the following services:
- Facilitate the establishment of beekeeping projects.
- Transfer of technologies in order to maximize production and promote commercialisation of the beekeeping industries.
- Conduct demonstrations, farm walks and field days to enhance technology adoption.
- Assist the public to capture bees.
- Appraise farmer's projects.
- Facilitate formation of producer associations.
